Personality Analysis: Agent Copper is a dedicated agent with a good foundation. Throughout her education she displayed an aptitude for strategy, analysis, and improvisation. She is highly intelligent and is aware of this. This self-assurance causes her to be an easy person to argue with because she is slow to listen to others. Though, this trait causes her to appear confident and that confidence is key if she is to lead. Through time Agent Copper will become wiser and humility will be learned. At that time, she will be ready for a Senior position. Currently she is rather brash and defiant towards her mentor. This could have been accredited to her young age and inexperience but it is believed to be a trait that has worsened due to her many successes. A position of authority may amend this or exacerbate it. Agent Copper’s temper though has not been as great of an issue as previously believed. Occasionally she has lapses but has always restrained herself from acting on those impulses. The medics have never seen the need to medicate her. In fact, Agent Copper’s attitude towards her job and the Empire itself, is quite admirable. Many young Agents after being in the field for a few years, begin to wilt. They lose their enthusiasm and become quite jaded. It is always during those first few years where the rogue agents are created. Agent Copper still displays the same level of enthusiasm she carried with her when she arrived to the Academy. Many can find her smiling and practicing her marksmanship during her free time rather than spending an evening at a club or pub with her peers. Agent Copper has also displayed incredible loyalty to the Empire. She truly believes that the Empire will and should exist for thousands of years. That it is essential for every galaxy’s prosperity. Being an Agent is not a job, it is who she is.

Combat Analysis: Agent Copper thrives in combat, it is surprising that she attended university for as long as she did. Her race descended from hunters and though they are great scientists and inventors, they still carry their original genes. Her agility and balance allows her to easily maneuver around opponents and find openings in their defense. Agent Copper prefers not to use her claws and teeth in combat unless absolutely necessary. Instead she uses an assortment of rifles and blades to aid her. This technique is highly effective especially in close quarters combat when combined with her skills in hand to hand. Agent Copper is not exceptionally skilled in hand to hand, if left weaponless she would have difficulty. Though it is not common for her to be left without a weapon. Agent Copper has been studying weaponry and on average it takes her three minutes to fully understand the capabilities of a new weapon. If left without a weapon she acquires a weapon from a fallen opponent.

Personality Analysis: Agent Prism has a very enthusiastic approach to her studies. She throws herself wholeheartedly into any task, no matter how impossible it may be. She has proven to be very adaptable to any circumstance, but her actions are still sometimes hesitant and uncertain. She tends to think about all possible outcomes of a situation before she acts. That could prove detrimental in situations that would require quick thinking and instantaneous decisions. Her gifts with technology are incredible, but she has an overly modest attitude. Sometimes too modest. She needs to learn to appreciate her own skills more.

Combat Analysis: She excelled remarkably in sparring classes. Hand to hand combat tends to be her specialty, armed or unarmed, and her crystal formation abilities can create very nasty surprises for her opponents. In addition the crystals she forms are capable of deflecting or splitting laser beams. She is skilled with a whip and the combat tutor has already reserved an electrified platinum whip for her use. She has decent marksmanship but that needs work. She is most skilled at close to mid range combat, and she is continuing to hone her race-specific abilities. More Crystallomoprhs must be recruited in the future if she reflects the general skill set of her race.

Navira walked quickly through the agency headquarters. She couldn't be late for this meeting. It was far too important. The hallways all looked the same so she did her best not to get lost. The Director's office was in the middle of the building. She stopped by the secretary's desk. The human woman looked up at her and asked, "What is your business here?"

Navira swallowed a lump in her throat as her heart thudded in her chest. "Agent Prism, here to see the Director. He requested me for a meeting," she said as evenly as she could. Hearing herself using her code name sent a new thrill of energy through her.

The secretary nodded and sent a brief message to the Director about her arrival. A short moment later the woman nodded. "You're clear to enter. Proceed." Navira nodded her thanks and opened the door.

The Director was sitting at his desk, watching her. She formed her right hand into a fist and pressed it to her left shoulder in a well-rehearsed salute. He acknowledged it with a brief nod of his head and Navira reverted to an at-ease stance. "...You asked to see me, sir?" she asked quietly, hoping she wasn't in trouble. She had only just graduated.

He nodded. "Yes. You're a new and inexperienced agent, so you need someone to help you with learning the ropes. You'll be assigned a partner, and you will work together to investigate crimes."

"Yes sir," she said quietly. A partner? Would she even get along with this partner? She glanced at the clock. It was 0902 hours. Two minutes late? Her partner was not very punctual. Navira frowned slightly, but then the door to the office opened again. Navira turned her head to look at the newcomer.

Evangeline's ship had arrived about ten minute before her meeting. That meant she had enough time to change out of her bloody uniform into her new one but not enough for a shower. She took a minute to admire the new orange trim before putting it on. Then she checked herself in the mirror. The uniform was correct but the rest of her still looked a bit disheveled after her assignment. For the most part the braid around her head had held together, but it looked a bit frizzy and a few strands had escaped. Other than that though, she looked fine. Boss was probably not going to mind that much.

She checked her watch to see how much time she had, about two minutes before the meeting began. Now to add being tardy to her list of probable transgressions. Evangeline ran down the halls and took the elevator. Once she arrived at the receptionist's desk, she didn't have to say anything. The human just nodded to her and opened the door. Evangeline burst in quickly giving a partial salute.

"My deepest apologies for my appearance and tardiness. There was a delay in my arrival due to a solar flare and I had only just arrived a few minutes ago." She quickly told her Boss. He nodded and responded back mentally. "That is alright agent. I presume the mission was a success?"
Evangeline smiled and nodded "It was, the prince only suffered minor wounds and the would be assassins were arrested."

The Boss nodded approval and turned to the other agent in the room. "Agent Prism, this is Agent Copper your partner. She comes from a telepathic race, hence the silent conversation you just witnessed. Do not be deterred by her appearance or tardiness. She is a fine agent and capable of mentoring you." He said out loud before turning to Evangeline and continuing. "Agent Copper, you have been given a great responsibility. Agent Prism is an exemplary student and has the potential to be an exemplary agent as well. You two are partners which means you must take her opinions and ideas into consideration. I want both of you to understand that there may be many differences between you two but it is our differences that makes us stronger. This is why the Empire has prospered for centuries. Now, report to Agent Arsenal for your new assignment"

Navira immediately noticed the orange stripe on the newcomer's uniform. A senior agent. Her strong sense of smell detected something on the senior agent's skin... Blood. She definitely smelled blood residue on her. What had she been doing? No one spoke, so she watched the silent conversation in confusion at first. At the Director's explanation she nodded slightly. Telepathic races were completely foreign to her; she had never met one before. This would be a great learning experience for her. She listened carefully to his instructions and saluted when he finished. "Yes sir. We won't let you down," she said with as much confidence as she could muster before exiting the office. She stood outside the office door and looked at Agent Copper as she exited. "It's nice to meet you Agent Copper. I hope we can work well together," she said extending her hand to the senior agent. "I look forward to it."

Evangeline firmly shook her hand and gave her a small smile, not displaying any teeth. It was fun spooking people but she didn't want her partner to be afraid of her. That would get them killed. "We will, and I'm Evangeline. Did you get any mind training? Lots of meditating and trying to expand your senses? If so then, try to put your mind in a state between those two. Once there, focus on me and send me your thoughts. By speaking to you I've opened a sort of channel so I'll receive them as if you were speaking aloud, but no one else will hear us." She explained and decided to examine her new partner as she processed this.

The girl was taller than her by about three inches which was going to be annoying. She was also pretty with periwinkle shoulder length hair and multi-hued skin that ranged from magenta to indigo. It made her stand out a bit but what was really eye catching was the embedded crystal in her skin. It caught the light and glimmered. She'd have to have it covered for stealth reasons, maybe some gloves. The girl was also built nicely, a lot of strength in her arms was a sign that she used her arms a lot when she fought. She probably preferred hand to hand.

Navira blinked a few times as she tried to digest what had just happened. Another silent telepathic conversation. She tried her best to find that in-between state that her new partner described. 'Uh, testing?' No reply was forthcoming. It took her a few tries. After a while she started to feel rather stupid. She sighed and looked away. "I don't know if this'll work," she said aloud. Realizing what that could imply, she quickly added, "The mind talking, not the partnership. I mean..." She sighed again. "I'm very sorry..." Leave it to her to make an absolute fool of herself in front of a second class agent. Her teachers would've cringed at her performance. She had never had much experience with meditation, she had dedicated her time to her combat training and other, more tangible or useful classes. She had been taught some of the nuances of sense expansion because of her naturally superior senses, but that had been it. As it turned out she should've taken that class. But even then she might not have received high marks. She had a natural doubt of meditation because it contradicted the religion of her planet. The priests had always told her to live in harmony with nature with her feet on the ground and her head on her shoulders, not in the clouds. Anything associated with supposed powers of the mind and the "zen" culture from Earth was frowned upon. That mental block was keeping her from doing what she needed to do.

Evangeline noted the girl's nervousness and embarrassment. It really was a good idea not to show off her teeth or claws. Who knew how she would react then. "That's alright, we'll figure it out later. Do you know Imperial Sign?" She asked then gave the receptionist, Julia, a nod farewell and continued down the hall. They needed to report to Agent Arsenal as soon as possible. Agent Arsenal, it was such an honor to work with her. She was so smart, talented, successful, and beautiful that Evangeline was always giddy at the thought being in her presence. Assignments with her as the Senior were always the best. Perhaps if this one was a great success, she could finally get that lesson on emp pulse cannons.

Navira followed close behind her and nodded. "Yes I do, it was a part of our linguistics class in the Academy," she said. "Should I use that to communicate with you instead?" As she walked she looked around the building. It was mostly a way to mask her excitement, she didn't want to seem too ridiculously eager. In reality she was very excited for her first ever mission with a senior agent. In addition, Agent Arsenal had to be a specialist in weapons. She ran her hand over the whip coiled at her side for the third time that day. She wasn't even sure why she did that; her best assumption was that it was a reassurance her weapon of choice was at her side still. She shouldn't be afraid of it flying away, so why was that a habit already? That would have to stop unless she wanted to blow their cover somewhere.

"In no way do I prefer it, but it's better than you blurting everything aloud for all to hear. There are going to be occasions where silence is needed and I may need to keep my telepathy a secret." Evangeline said and activated the elevator. At least she knew Imperial Sign. They could work with that until they had enough free time. Then Evangeline could work with her on her mental responses.
"What weapons are you good at, skills?" She asked in Sign. Evangeline needed to know all of the pieces she was working with. It was her job now to arrange them and find the most efficient way for the assignment to be conducted. At least Agent Arsenal was there to give her input and hopefully have a new gun.

Navira followed her into the elevator. She fully understood the need for silence and secrecy in this job. She struggled to use Imperial Sign at full conversational speed, but she would learn that with practice. "Hand to hand is my specialty. I'm also skilled with various handheld combat weapons. The whip is my favorite," she signed back. The elevator dropped swiftly toward the weapons study and training area for fully recognized agents, also known as the kingdom of Agent Arsenal.

"Whip? That's neat, guns?" Evangeline asked and then exited the elevator. It was taking all of her self control to not skip down the hallway smiling like an idiot. And even then, there was still a slight skip to her step. Being professional and serious was always hard for Evangeline. She had to put herself in a certain mind set and roll with it. Being on the weapons study and training area floor was a huge distraction. Being on the floor was like dumping a child in a candy store, telling them they had to ignore all of the wonderful things around them, meet the manager, and then go and work on something. That's why Evangeline was strictly staring in front of her or at the girl. "Don't be nervous, Arsenal is nice just serious. She's all soft inside."

Navira nodded and followed her down the hallway. "I have some skill with a gun, but it isn't my best." She was hoping that Agent Arsenal wouldn't be too hard on her for being inexperienced, but from what Evangeline had told her she wasn't that bad. But then again, it could be in comparison to other specialized agents. Order was everything. Then another thought hit her, she hadn't told her partner her name yet. "I almost forgot to tell you, my name is Navira," she said aloud, thinking it would be easier for her to reference if she heard the pronunciation herself. Crystallomorph names were always rather strange from the perspective of an outsider.

She looked at a sturdy metal door at the end of the hallway. Just from observation she could tell it was a blast-secure, password-locked, override-proof door. Whatever was kept behind that door was either top secret, very dangerous, or both. When they made it to the door she stopped and examined the outer control panel, tracing the different mechanisms with her finger. The advanced security technology fascinated her. Realizing that she could be considered suspicious for doing that, she turned to Evangeline and signed, "This technology fascinates me, it's nearly impossible to hack. It's amazing."

Some was better than none and they had time. Evangeline had to remind herself that she wasn't the best when she joined. It took time and they had time. She would just have to take the time to tutor the girl and eventually she would be a decent shot. The girl could also just be down playing her skills. She seemed rather meek. It wouldn't be a surprise that she didn't know just how talented she was.

Navira, a good name for Sign but still a bit long for her taste. Evangeline would have to come up with a Sign Name for her once she knew a bit more about her. For now she would just spell out Navi and the girl could use her Sign Name. "My Sign Name is" she said and then demonstrated. She made a gun with her right hand, brought it up to the side of her head and moved it in a circle from top to bottom. "I didn't come up with it obviously. And it is, luckily I know the password." Evangeline said and then entered it in and the door swished open.

The room had a dark blue tile floor but paneled walls. Every few seconds 'veins' in the walls would light up as electricity shot through them from the floor. Across from the door on the far wall was a desk mounted to the floor. On it was a mixture of papers, gadgets, tools, and parts. But Agent Arsenal wasn't there. She was on the left side of the room behind a clear wall blasting apart tasseroles. It seemed that she was jotting down the effects the blaster was having on them, the radius of the debris, any singes, and such. Evangeline stepped into the room, turned, and stood in front of the clear door at the ready. She knew Navira would do the same.

Agent Arsenal finished her notes, placed the blaster down and turned to the two girls. She was wearing a similar uniform to theirs with the exception that her trim was navy blue, showing that she was a Senior Agent. People were normally surprised by her appearance. It wasn't that she was grotesque, Agent Arsenal was quite beautiful. She was a magnolizhan though which meant she appeared to be plant like. In fact it was just a form of camouflage her race benefited from. Agent Arsenal's skin appeared to be bark, her hair was made up of flowered vines instead of strands, and her tail was long and strong, almost resembling a branch.

Evangeline gave Agent Arsenal a salute, leaving her fist on her right shoulder, but she couldn't keep the small smile hidden. The blaster looked like a lot of fun but it was obviously a prototype. There were too many loose wires and open panels. "At ease" Agent Arsenal said and then made her way t her desk. She rummaged around until she found the right paper.

Navira followed her superior into the room, looking around at the high tech interior. The very walls were reinforced against any kind of assault, from outside or in. They were equipped to redirect electric shock, muffle concussive blasts, disperse laser beams, the whole nine light-years. After just seeing the room she felt like she was in technological heaven. She followed Evangeline somewhat blindly, taking in everything she could about the room, until they stopped by a clear door. She stood at attention as Evangeline did. Then she caught sight of Agent Arsenal herself. Her hair looked like vines, and every bit of her resembled nature. She was basically a walking tree. And she was destroying melons with a blaster. Looking at the wires she mentally dissected the basic components of the gun, but based on that alone its effects weren't matching. Other parts within had to be altering the outgoing beam.

When Agent Arsenal lowered the blaster and turned around to look at them Navira mimicked the salute, keeping her eyes on the weapons master. That took a decent amount of control for the new agent; she was distracted by the surrounding technology more than a child in their favorite toy shop. When Arsenal gave the at ease command she obeyed, watching her with a more curious expression. All the while she held her tongue, knowing she was the younger agent and should stay silent in those circumstances.

Evangeline followed her to the desk, motioning for the girl to follow. For a brief second she debated on plainly projecting to everyone but decided against it. The girl still seemed unnerved by it and she was being rather quiet. Instead she began to excitedly Sign. Agent Arsenal was used to her by now so at ease meant Evangeline could speak freely. "Is that our assignment? Is it extracting a powerful weapon from a mad scientist's lab? Or something easier because of the girl?" She knew she was acting childish, but she couldn't help it. Being around Agent Arsenal exacerbated that aspect of her personality. And the other Agent knew and accepted it.

"Calm" Agent Arsenal said and motioned for Evangeline to stop. "You must be Agent Prism, as you may have been already informed, I am Agent Arsenal. I will be your Senior Agent for this assignment, you two report to me. We have received information that the Black Hand is conducting a trade of some sort with the rebels known as Hail on Lucerna. The Black Hand is known to have experimental and weapons of mass destruction in their stock. Our informant was only able to tell us that the trade would take place in the next three days, after tomorrow. Apparently negotiations are still taking place. Your assignment is to secure the weapons before they reach Hail. Realizing that we are onto them and not wishing to risk themselves, the Black Hand will abandon the trade."

Navira followed Evangeline and Agent Arsenal. When Evangeline referenced her lack of experience her eyebrows twitched up. She understood the reasoning behind the statement, but it didn't mean she was completely helpless. Directing her attention away from her slightly bruised (yet somewhat small) ego, she focused on what the senior agent was telling them. From the basic terminology files in the academy she recalled that the Black Hand was a black market organization-arms dealer, illegal drug producer, and authority enforcer. Everything that was to be expected from a black market society kingpin group. It matched the basic fit.

"Then we are supposed to secure the weapons as quietly and secretively as possible?" she asked hesitantly, imagining a behind-the-scenes, stealthy mission. Get in, secure the weapons, and get out. She quickly quelled the action film daydream, as she had commonly had to do. Real life was a lot less glamorous, and usually very dangerous. She couldn't be acting like the spy heroes, most of that was fake or outdated anyway.

"Yes, unless someone decides to have some 'fun'." Agent Arsenal said, but instead of looking at the girl, she was glaring at Evangeline. Her response was to shrug and attempt to give an innocent smile, but after a few seconds she Signed a response. "I will try to not cause complications, but I can not promise anything."

Agent Arsenal nodded and handed the paper to Evangeline "You two are to read the entire report and then dispose of it. Your ship will be leaving in the next hour in Launch Deck G, you are to report there 5 minutes early. The rest of the time from here on out should be used to pack your belongings. The ships estimated arrival time is tomorrow at 0800 Lucerna time. Any further comments before your dismissal?"

Navira shook her head slightly. She didn't want to end up running her mouth by accident, since she could see the closeness between Arsenal and Evangeline. She was slightly disappointed that they would not be flying themselves-she wanted to pilot a ship for once. The simulators were great, but it didn't compare to the real thing.

However she was more curious about other things that had been said. "What do you mean by fun though?" she hesitantly asked, wondering what antics Evangeline had potentially been up to in the past to require that warning.

Agent Arsenal smiled at the girl. "It is a constant problem she has. Copper can complete her assignments and has the highest success rate, but her methods are not always conventional. She has a tendency to take the simplest of tasks and twist them until they're unrecognizable. One time her duty was to protect a young daughter of an Ambassador from some rebels. In the end, we were forced to send a ship to a planet on the other side of the galaxy to pick her and the Ambassador's daughter up, along with an entire circus." The girl's eyes widened and she let out a short burst of laughter. "A circus? How did a protection detail turn into that?" she asked, unable to keep the smile from spreading across her face.

Evangeline who had been angrily signing stopped when the girl laughed. It was the first time she saw her happy, not nervous. "I want to make one thing clear, I did keep her safe from the rebels and circus people can be great help." She projected to both of them since no one had paid any attention to her while Agent Arsenal was speaking. "We should go, you can hear the whole story some other time."

Navira jumped when Evangeline projected into her mind. She hadn't been expecting that. "S-sorry," she stuttered in reply, trying to keep the smile from returning. Trying, but failing miserably. "Yes, we should get going," she said, trying to get back to business. Her imagination wasn't cooperating though; she was busy imagining Evangeline flipping about on a trapeze, raining lasers on would-be assassins while the ambassador's daughter was riding around the center ring on the back of some exotic animal. The very thought made her laugh again, even though she was entirely certain she would get in trouble for that.

Evangeline rolled her eyes when the girl started giggling again. She had to remind herself that it wasn’t too long ago that she was in the same position. That didn’t mean she would stay and waste time. Evangeline waved and saluted the senior agent before grabbing the girl’s wrist and pulling her out of the room. She knew it was disrespectful to leave without being formally dismissed but at the moment she didn’t care. It was easier to send the girl off to her room to pack. Luckily for Evangeline, her things were packed from her last trip. All she needed to do was take a shower and fix her hair. "Do not cause any explosions! We do not need the population panicking!" Agent Arsenal yelled before the door sealed itself.

“Meet me at my room when done, it’s KC642 TX395. I’ll take you to the ship, or will it be too hard to find my room?” Evangeline asked as they made their way back to the elevator. The girl may not understand the room set up, it was confusing. Took Evangeline three months to understand it and another to quit getting lost. “I can find you instead.”

"You should find me. I haven't had time to learn the room system here at all, that would be more efficient," the girl muttered and Evangeline noticed how her shoulders were slumped. “Perk up, we’re going on an assignment! And you’re going to love the planet, it’s not a really one. It’s a colonized moon.” Evangeline sent mentally because it was quicker than signing. The elevator then arrived and she stepped inside.

Navira was a little put off. She was enjoying herself, but when Evangeline pulled her out of the room she had a feeling that she had done something wrong. If there was one thing Navira could do in those few minutes, it was berate herself. She barely heard what was said as they exited the room.

As the elevator door opened she tried to smile a little and stepped inside. Moons were always interesting. "Aren't there five other moons around the planet?" she asked, trying to double check her facts. "And the anchor planet is still essentially a ball of magma."

Evangeline's hand paused above the button for the dormitory floor. She really didn't know much about each planet. There were thousands of them and it was really hard to keep track. All she tried to do was remember tid bits of each, the assignment files would give her the rest. So Evangeline gave the girl a quick shrug and pressed the button for their floor. She would escort Navira to her room before going to her own and would later return for her.
